Corsets

Regular price $6.99

Girls know the perfect accessory for every outfit: corsets! And I don't mean belts shaped like corsets made of no more than three pieces of fabric. I mean perfectly form-fitting corsets that can be laced up.

Because of the second-skin fit of these corsets, they only fit the specific dolls they were molded on, Monster High & Ever After High.

Patterns Included:Overbust Corset, Underbust Corset, Waist-cincher, with fastening variations for all (eyelet, looped lace, velcro, etc) depending on preference/ability.

Supplies needed: 1/4 yard fabric, thread/sewing supplies
Difficulty: Advanced-sewing corsets isn't hard, but it takes a level of precision that isn't easy for most beginners.  If you find this too hard, there are lots of patterns with simplified corsets included that fasten with snaps or velcro.  You can also check out the 'Tutorials' section for free resources on sewing and sizing.

You will get a link to the .pdf file to download on checkout as well as in your order confirmation email.  You can buy/download/print and get started in minutes!

Excellent pattern

This pattern is very good. Easy to follow. The difficulty rating is pretty spot on, it requires some tight precision sometimes, I did it all hand sewn, don't know if it would even be remotely possible to try to machine any of it, the pieces of very fine after all. However don't let it dissuade you, try it anyway, if you fail then you will have learned something for your next attempt after all.
I had a great time creating a dark blue corset my customized Lagoona Blue wears. Went with an adapted sort of eyelet fastening to tie the corset shut with a nice thin white ribbon. Paired with the "princess mega-pack 1" for a white Bolero worn over a tight fighting blue dress in a lighter blue than the blue of her corset. She is sitting pretty on my computer tower right now.
I love all the patterns I have purchased and fully intend to purchase some more, once I figure out which ones I am particularly wanting.
