L.U.V. Doll review & sizing

Posted by on

There are a LOT of new dolls this year!  I haven't seen much about L.U.V. dolls and I'm a bit surprised because they are pretty nice looking.  Perhaps this is because they're marketed as 8" dolls and this seems like a strange doll size? It's not.  Some very BIG doll lines have bodies with the same proportions, and it would probably be more obvious if LUVs had oversized heads   Now is she starting to look a bit more familiar? G3 Monster High Hand Fix

Posted by on

If you read my review on Abbey you might have noticed that I have a problem with the new G3 Monster High hands.  Someone suggested I contact Mattel's customer service for replacement hands, so I'll pass on that advice to anyone who has already had hands snapping off like me! But, being a customizer and dolly doctor, I sat down with my dolls and did some experiments to see if I could find a preventative fix.  I did, and it's pretty easy, so let me show you how: Examining the wrist, it seems like the issue is the knob on...
