Is there anything more adorable (and cuddly) than a kigurumi? This Japanese adaptation of western footie pajama/onesie adds a hood and animal bits: you can make cats, lions, frogs, bears, pandas, ponies, donkey, rabbit and monkey animal kigurumi all with the bits included in this pattern!

Patterns included: Kigurumi with different cut variations, 4 ear shapes, 2 tail shapes for dolls in 60cm size with adult proportions (ex DD, Smart Doll, F60).

Supplies needed: 1/2 yard fabric, thread/sewing supplies

There is nothing cuter than dressing your little lady up in PJ’s that have cuddly animal features. SO far I have made a Panda, Cat and a rabbit. What I like best about this pattern is that you can make it as simple or as challenging as you want it to be. Unfortunately the written instructions for this outfit Is really confusing. Especially when you get to steps 7-9. Where your putting the hoodie part together. The instructions state to sew back of hood outside fabric together at the top along F and hood trim side together along G. OK I must be bind because I don’t see any of those reference letters on any of the patterns. I ended up just making a wild guess. For that reason I could not give this pattern a full five star. Showing pictures of these steps would be a huge help.

Great pattern

I made up the kirtle first. The pattern is easy to follow. Then I started to experiment. I shortened it to mini length and was pleased with the results. The third time I used it, I kept the mini length and expanded the sleeves for a bell look.
